  4. Please read the documentation carefully.  The icons in this archive
  5. have special features and are very different from the usual icons
  6. that you find in other icon packages.

  8. Viewing them requires the NewIcons program to be running, unless
  9. you are using a workbench replacement that directly supports
  10. the NewIcons system.
  11.  
  12. Patchopenwb (or equivalent) must also be installed if you are using 
  13. Workbench 3.0 or higher, to work around an operating system bug.
  14.  
  15. Kickstart 2.x is NO LONGER supported with this release.
  16.  
  17. If you are using an ECS machine, you need to set up an appropriate palette.
  18. One is included for your viewing pleasure.
  19.  
  20. New since version 3, NewIcons must be launched in the user startup with:

  22. run <>NIL: c:newicons
